Shipping and delivery
How long does shipping take?
Orders leave within 1-3 business days, and most arrive 8-17 business days after that, so plan on about 2 to 4 weeks door to door. You get a tracking number by email as soon as your order ships.
How much is shipping?
Free within the United States on orders of $35 or more. Orders under $35 ship for a flat $4.95. We ship only within the United States for now.
Who packs my order?
Our suppliers pack and ship most items straight from their own warehouses, many of them overseas. That is why delivery takes longer than a big-box store. We pick the products, answer every message and handle every return ourselves.
Will a kit arrive in one box?
Not always. The Complete Field Kit's parts may arrive in more than one package, on different days. Your tracking email lists each one.
Will it arrive before Christmas?
Order by November 20. That date allows for the slow end of the delivery range.
Returns and help
What if something is missing or broken?
Tell us within 15 days of delivery and send a photo. We'll replace it or refund you, at no cost to you, with no return needed.
Can I return something I don't want?
Yes. Unused items in their original packaging can be returned within 15 days of delivery for a full refund of the item price. You cover the return shipping. First-aid supplies with opened sterile packaging can't be returned unless they arrived damaged.

Tell us who it's for on our Contact page, and we'll tell you honestly which kit we'd pick.
How do I reach you?
Email support@cairnandfield.com or use our Contact page, and include your order number if you have one. Two brothers in Utah answer every message ourselves, usually within one business day.
