It sounds like you've been meaning to put something in the car for a while. Most people have, and it keeps sliding to next weekend.

So we did the packing for you. The first-aid set, the multi-tool survival kit, three foil blankets and a window-breaker keychain, picked to live in your trunk. Would it be unreasonable to just have it handled before the passes close?

You're probably wondering whether this is another cheap overseas kit with half the pieces missing. Fair question. If anything is missing or broken when it arrives, tell us within 15 days of delivery and we'll make it right.

When you're loading up for the canyon, it's already in there. The blankets go on top, since that's what you'd grab first.

Is $129 a bad deal for never thinking about this again? Bought one at a time, these pieces come to $141.97. Together they're $129.

Not sure which one fits? Tell us who it's for, and we'll tell you honestly which kit we'd pick.
